“ Came here recently for a bday party for WENDY and RAQUEL WAS THE FUCKIN BEST!!! Really took care of us, super friendly, and kept the vibes going the whole time. Also great sandwiches (but make more chicken parm) and even greater happy hour. ”
“ Was here last week for a birthday celebration and just want to say that Raquel is the best!!! ”
“ I can confidently say Joey Roses has the best sandwiches I have ever eaten in my entire life- I ordered for delivery, and next time I would like to go in person. I ordered the Ami and the Babe, both of which I would order again in a heartbeat- a true old skool experience from the soft bread to the luscious fresh toppings- I'll be back soon, thank you! ”
“ The sabdwich lived up the the hype of "best in the city" and the service, of which was offered by Raquel, was even better. ”
“ What. A. Place. Me and the Ms's decided to switch things up and turn off The Masked Singer and leave the house. We headed for the coolest neighborhood we could think of, The LES. We stumbled upon this little hole in the wall dive and wanted to check it out. Apparently it's owned by a comedian but I've never heard of them. You could tell it was a comedy bar because of how many bits you heard and the incessant banter. The Guinness was poured right and the sparkling bubbles of the tequila soda shined through in the dimmed bar lighting. Everyone was laughing, joking, and giggling the night away. I'll tell what wasn't funny... the SANDWICHES. These were seriously SO GOOD!! We got the Dad and it was everything I was missing in my life, a dad. Thanks to Stella and Danny our mixologist and sandwich expert for the night. It's time to give Joey his roses because we never really know how long this place will last. ”
“ Woah...Mr. Joey Roses changed the game with brussels and hot honey on a sandwich (The Babe). Absolutely delicious! Also, date vibes with red lights throughout the bar and multiple lounge areas. ”
“ We ordered The Babe and The Sink. You know both options are amazing when your favorite item depends on what is currently in your mouth. The fact that the vegetarian sandwich competes with the meat option surprised me, but the crunch and flavor made it a star. I typically prefer a crunchy crust to the bread, whereas Joey Roses is more chewy, but this did not subtract from the meal at all. Inside atmosphere was fun and the staff were casual and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joey Roses to others and I look forward to my next visit. ”
“ I wanted a quick bite before heading to the airport and decided to pop in. The staff is very friendly and the sandwiches were amazing! Tried the babe and the sink. Both were super tasty and I had a hard time picking which one was my favorite. The sink is a vegetarian sandwich with a sweet and spicy (but not too spicy) flavor. I'm not a vegetarian but this sandwich really shined. The only thing I would say that might've made it better was less chewy bread. I can't wait to try more! ”
“ Absolutely killer sandwiches. Brussels sprouts really stood out to us. Crispy and delicious. If you haven't enjoyed a sandwich from this dive bar looking establishment you are missing out. Super cute interior. We'll be back!! Thanks for having us. ”
